IU’s ‘Celebrity’ Receives ‘All-Kill’ Certification For Sweeping Major Music Charts

IU released her much anticipated track ‘Celebrity‘ on January 27 at 6 p.m. KST. The song continues sweeping major music charts in South Korea.

Earlier, it was reported that ‘Celebrity’ topped the Melon’s 24Hits chart in only three hours of the release.

On January 28, iChart announced that ‘Celebrity’ achieved the ‘AllKill’ status. The ‘AllKill’ certification is issued when a track takes the No. 1 spot the daily and 24Hits charts of Melon, daily and realtime charts of Genie and Bugs, VIBE’s daily chart, and FLO’s and iChart’s realtime charts.

‘Celebrity’ is a part of her upcoming full studio album. Earlier, IU announced in her award acceptance speech at the ‘35th Golden Disk Awards‘ that she would release a full album this year. This will be IU’s first full album in three years after ‘Palette,’ which was released in 2017.
